The Personal Impact Assessment makes sure your first impressions count

Studies reveal that we judge people within 5 seconds of meeting them, and that only 7% of the first impression we make is a result of what we say. The other 93% is made up of body language and posture (55%) and vocal aspects like tone and clarity (38%). It takes around 20 additional meetings with a person to change the first impression of them.

Do you know:

  • How much is one lost order worth to the company?
  • How much business is lost because staff aren't making the right first impression?
  • What aspects of an employee's personal image work in their favour?
  • What messages are given before the first word is even spoken?

Finding out the facts about how customer-facing staff members are perceived could be the best investment a business makes.

The Personal Impact Assessment:
  • gives a 'snapshot' of that critical first impression by providing holistic view of the impact an individual makes with customers
  • measures the gap between the way the candidate perceived themselves, and how they are seen by others
  • creates insight into the individuals strengths and accurately highlights any areas that would benefit from development
  • provides benchmark data against which improvements can be measured.
You should consider using PIA if:
  • You're an image consultant seeking a powerful tool to add significant value to your offering - we can even give you a PIA under your own brand
  • You're a sales manager making sure your team isn't losing opportunities because of negative first impressions
  • You're leading a team of professionals who need to combine their high-level expertise with great personal impact to ensure the best customer experience
  • If you think PIA could add value to your organisation's training and development drive.
